Registration – 50 EUR,
Accomodation and lunch 200 EUR

BIASS is happy to announce 10 scholarship, which covers 50% of accommodation and lunch expenditures. For more details please see SCHOLARSHIPS.

ACCOMMODATION

Students will live in a hostel. Please check for more information by the end of July.

Admission 

There are two stages in the application process:

First, submit the  CV and your portfolio to

Portfolio Requirements:

All applicants are expected to submit a portfolio or a good selection of works.

·         All applicants should submit a total maximum of 4 projects. Please include no more than 2 professional projects, at least one individual project and at least one non-academic project.

·         The size of your portfolio should not exceed 20 MB. Please be aware that quality is more important than quantity.

·         The number of pages should not exceed 20.

·         The format should be pdf.

·         You MUST submit the portfolio by the BIASS’s application deadline.

Applications and portfolios will be assessed by the admissions panel, and applicants will be informed if they are offered a place at the Batumi International Architecture Summer School. 

                                          Second, once you have received email confirmation from us of your acceptance to the BIASS, we ask that you pay the registration, accommodation and lunch fee (250 EUR) in full within ten days. Do not pay before you have received confirmation of your acceptance from us. 

Payment may be made either by bank transfer or credit card.

Please note that your admission to the course will ONLY be ensured once you have paid 250 EUR in a whole. 

If we do not receive a credit card payment or copy of the bank transfer within ten days of notification of your acceptance, we will have no choice but to cancel your course reservation. Your application will, however, remain in our database and, if there are still spaces available, you may renew your registration simply by contacting us.

                           SCHOLARSHIPS

The BIASS is able to grant a limited number of scholarships. The scholarship covers 50 % of expenditures for lunches and accommodation (a bed in a hostel). It is not payable in cash and covers neither transportation nor living expenses (board). The award selection is based upon an applicant’s academic performance and personal achievement. 

Please note that the number of available schoolarships is limited and there will be a keen and fierce competition for gaining a scholarship. Thus, in order to ensure your participation, BIASS kindly recommends you to take other steps to secure your own funding, for example, by turning first to your home institution or other local sources of financial aid. Please inform us as soon as possible if you have applied for the BIASS scholarship but have managed to raise your own funds.
